The Brooks 4800 line of mass flow meters and controllers is an excellent choice for measurement and control of many common gases including air, N2, O2, Ar, He, H2, CO2, CO, N2O, CH4, C3H6, and C3H8. The Brooks 0254 is a four channel power supply, Read-out and set point controller. This innovative, reliable microcomputer-based controller provides power for up to four Brooks thermal mass flow, Quantim Coriolis mass flow and/or pressure devices; all in a new compact design. Additionally, the 0254 can be used to generate flow setpoint commands, display flow rate, totalize flow, for blending multiple flow streams, and more. This fully RoHS compliant device has a very user-friendly operation and is offered with multiple mounting capabilities, such as rack mount, panel mount and table-top mount.

The 0254 features a large, high contrast, backlit graphic display which allows the user to view real-time process variables and the programmed setpoint for each connected device right on the home screen.

Every 0254 comes with a RS-232 port, giving the user serial communications capability.

The Brooks models 5850E-5863E mass flow meters and mass flow controllers accurately measures and controls gas flows. The heart of the system is a very stable flow sensor which produces an electric output signal linear with flow rate used for indicating and/or recording. The Brooks mass flow controllers accurately measure and control gas flows fast to command changes, virtually without overshoot. These mass flow controllers provide an exclusive PID control loop, which has been balanced to match unique sensor/valve characteristics. The computer designed control valves allow stable operation over a wide variety of flow and pressure conditions. The actual flow dynamics are controlled, resulting in a much smoother transition to steady-state flow in the shortest period of time.

The new Eldridge Master-Touch family of thermal mass flow meters continues and greatly expands upon this legacy by adding a powerful microprocessor to proven thermal technology for an unparalleled degree of flexibility, accuracy, and control. The MP Series have hazardous area approvals, and the MPNH Series are for non-hazardous duty. The FAT Averaging Tubes are for large pipes and ducts, such as in HVAC systems. The Eldridge 8000-8200 Series units feature remote electronics display units, and the 8600-8800 Series have the electronics and displays integral in the sensor housing.

The patented Flomega through-flow liquid thermal mass flowmeter design is at the heart of this system. All models are self-contained with signal conditioning electronics, and housed in weather-proof, IP65 certified enclosures. In addition the Flomega liquid controller also includes an integrally mounted control valve and controller electronics.

The Flomega has been specifically designed to measure and control very low liquid flows from 0.3 to 1000 g/hr.

This self-contained thermal mass flow controller utilises thermodynamic principles to directly measure and control the mass flow rate of gas. Proven over 25 years, hundreds of thousands of these instruments are installed in laboratories, pilot plants and all types of manufacturing processes. Needing only 24Vdc power and a  0-5VDC or 4-20mA command signal, the product is ideal for all kinds of advanced gas handling, blending & control duties.

The SLA5800 series covers an extremely broad range of flowrates, from as low as 3 ccm full scale up to 2500 LPM.

There are also a broad range of communications options available, as well as the analogue signals, there are also RS-485 digital communications and protocols like DeviceNet and FOUNDATION Fieldbus.

This device has the same capability as the SLA Series but IP66 rated and suitable for installation in Ex Zone 2 areas. SMART units are available for use with HART based RS-485, FOUNDATION fieldbus, Profibus-DP and DeviceNet plant automation systems.

The Brooks model 5850TR flow controller accurately measures and controls gas flows.
